Born on the 2nd of June, 1997, Lucky Udu is a passionate storyteller and a Poverty Activist who uses his filmmaking abilities to create impactful content. Drawing inspiration from the death of his parents, Lucky travels across Nigeria to shed light on the stories of underprivileged and underrepresented individuals. He believes that their voices deserve to be heard, their struggles acknowledged, and their triumphs celebrated.
Lucky Udu is the C.E.O of Lucky Udu Studio, Lucky Udu Academy and the President of Lucky Udu Foundation. He is also a prominent voice on social media, inspiring a global audience with his content. His platform on Facebook alone comprises more than 1.5 million followers.
In recognition of his work, Lucky was awarded an honorary doctorate by ICPAN at the tender age of 24, earning him the title Dr. Lucky Udu. He shares a passion for national development and was appointed the Director of Youth Sensitisation at the Nigerian Youth Congress at the same age.
