About MAUK…
The Malayalee Association of the U.K. (M.A.U.K.) is a charity located in Manor Park, Newham, London. Since 1974, we have been actively involved in serving the local community by providing a wide range of social and cultural activities. We are also the first and one of the leading and largest Malayalee organisations in the U.K. with roots that can be traced back to Shri V.K. Krishna Menon’s Kerala League
Our initiatives include the Elders Centre and Lunch Club, a 60+ Sisters Club tailored for elderly ladies, outings and picnics for elders, befriending services for the housebound, as well as music, dance, language, supplementary and personal development classes and workshops.
We also organise cultural and social gatherings to bridge the generational gap and undertake educational campaigns to promote fairness and equality in society, while raising awareness of British values.
Additionally, we are committed to addressing local food shortages and supporting charitable causes both in the U.K. and India.
