Assam Education Welfare Trust (AEWT), Jorhat has been established in the year 2015 for imparting teaching & training of various courses like Pharmacy, Nursing, Paramedical and other job oriented professional courses. To achieve these objectives, the introduction of some of the pioneer institutes of Upper Assam under the banner of AEWT Group was done. Assam Nursing Institute (ANI) was started in the year 2018 and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and approved by Assam Nursing Council and Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam. Assam Pharmacy Institute (API) was started in the year 2020 and is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, Assam. In the subsequent year, Assam Paramedical Institute was established which is affiliated to SSUHS.
