Indian railways (IR) is a statutory body under the ownership of the minister
of railways, government of India that operates India's national railway system. It manages the fourth largest national railway system in the world by size, with a total route length of 68,043km(42,280mile) running track length of 102,831km(63,896mile) and track length of 128,305km(79,725mile) as of 31st March 2022.
Minister of Indian Railway is Ashwini Vaishnav
Now a days new technology trains introduced by the ministry of Indian Railway since 2019 i.e. Vande Bharat Express Train.
