About Us
Dear Owners of SSM Nagar,
We are delighted to inform you that we have formed the SSM Nagar Maintenance Society with the exclusive objective of maintaining SSM Nagar, as contemplated under the Maintenance Agreement entered into between the SSM Builders and Promoters and each Flat/Shop owner of SSM Nagar. The Society is registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Act, vide Registration No. SRG/Chennai South/305/2022.
Our Objectives
The main objective of this Society is to maintain absolute integrity and provide uninterrupted common facilities to SSM Nagar Residents.
SSM Builders and Promoters have recognized and agreed to hand over the maintenance to the owners through the Society when 2/3rd of the owners join the SSM Nagar Maintenance Society. To begin with, all the owners will avail the following benefits if the Society takes over the maintenance from the Builder:
• Exemption from paying GST (18%) in monthly maintenance charges (Approx. ₹8300 PA for 3BHK at ₹2 per Sq. Ft.)
• Ability to approach and request the Local Panchayat to maintain the SSM Nagar Roads and OSR’s through our Society.
• Maintenance of lighting in all common areas in SSM Nagar.
Membership
Enrollment of members is available for a payment of ₹10/- (Rupees Ten Only) as a one-time payment and is non-refundable.
Any statutory charges currently paid by the Builder will be avoided or reduced when the Society takes over the charge. This will directly benefit SSM Nagar residents by reducing their expenses and can maintain ₹2 per Sq. Ft as long as possible.
