“Independent Diaspora” is a media platform issued by the “Independent Lebanese Diaspora” Foundation, a Lebanese research center that is intellectual, cultural, media-oriented, and focused on the Lebanese diaspora around the world and its issues. It defends Lebanon’s independence and sovereignty, as well as human rights within the country.
The platform highlights the cultural and scientific achievements of expatriates, fights corruption in all its forms in the homeland, defends Lebanon in host countries and rallies support for it,
assists new Lebanese immigrants in integrating into their new societies, strengthens interaction between resident and expatriate Lebanon, and encourages members of the diaspora to stay informed about developments in Lebanon and to play a positive role in shaping its destiny.
Our media platform is independent, non-political, yet deeply patriotic. It is non-sectarian and non-religious, defending the principles of freedom, social justice, and equality in rights and duties. It is a self-funded, open platform, whose wealth lies in its free pen and committed thought.
