Artbandhu was founded in 2017 by Abhijeet Prahlad and three other artists, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and event strategists who had worked together for over 10 years on various films, event-related promotions and distribution in India and the U.S. They realized the need for a go-to platform that fulfills the needs of the artistic community.
"We wanted it to be a single platform that covers artists' different needs with a primary focus on content distribution and creative jobs," says Abhijeet.
Artbandhu is a comprehensive AI platform for content distribution and creative job services and has connected over 100,000 artists from various parts of India. They host creative artists and art organizations on their platform and facilitate events, jobs, products, and services information.
The platform attracts customers and business owners, especially from remote and rural towns, who are not tech savvy and find it difficult to use multiple platforms for networking, collaboration, and business opportunities.
The company tried several tools for outreach and quicker engagement with artists, but none of them worked well. So they turned to the WhatsApp Business app as a primary communication medium to generate leads and provide updates on events, jobs, products, and services to users.
"Features like quick reply, auto reply, greeting, status, voice, and video helps us stay relevant and provide regular updates to users," says Abhijeet. Customer support and technical fixes have been faster with the use of WhatsApp Business as most of their customers can now easily share their issues, if any, via the app.
Since using the WhatsApp Business app, their email/call engagements for customer support have drastically reduced and their income has increased up to 20 percent.
