Abhinav Singh is an entrepreneur at heart.
He has explored entrepreneurship across diverse sectors, and in 2015, when he and his wife Ankita couldn’t make ends meet with his consumer electronics venture, he started Bluewud, an online furniture and decor company based in Noida, specializing in TV units, bookshelves, coffee tables, and wall shelves.
“We are trying to implement cross-industry trends and bring innovative designs and concepts into our product range,” Abhinav says of their product philosophy.
Bluewud started using the WhatsApp Business app in mid-2018 mainly for customer interaction.
“We have a large number of customers and are expected to have a seamless connection with all of them. This wasn’t possible through SMS, as it was too intrusive, and emails aren’t checked periodically. We realized that most of them use WhatsApp, so decided to use WhatsApp Business,” says Abhinav, who also uses the app for sharing product links, product images and demo videos for product installation.
“We like features like the verified business profile, quick replies, automated greetings, and away messages,” says Abhinav. He adds that the WhatsApp Business app gives clear and specified messaging statistics, and he also likes that they can access their business profile on the desktop and laptop as well.
Since using the WhatsApp Business app, the business has grown almost 70-100 percent year-on-year, and they are expecting to continue on this path for the next 5 years.
As the serial entrepreneur tries his latest venture, he has a trusted ally in the WhatsApp Business app to help him on his journey.
