FanatiXx Publication’s journey began in 2017 when Rourkela resident Hemant Bansal felt that writers weren’t getting enough support and encouragement from their friends and family. He wanted to provide budding authors with a community of people they could look up to and foster motivation to pursue their passion for writing. What began as an Instagram page turned into a writer’s community, literary agency, anthology compilation, and now FanatiXx Publication. They are now one of the very few ISO-certified publication houses and literary agencies in India, with a writer base of over 2,000 and a community of more than 40,000 individuals.
FanatiXx Publication provides publishing services including book formatting, manuscript editing, cover designing, web development, inventory management, and marketing services.
Six months ago, they started using the WhatsApp Business app as their primary communication tool.
Says Hemant, “With the QR code provided by WhatsApp Business, people can scan and directly connect with us. It helps people who are uncomfortable saving a stranger’s number.”
According to him, one of the best features in the app is the short link, along with labels, and broadcast tool.
FanatiXx Publication has been growing gradually at a rate of 10-15 percent, but after downloading the WhatsApp Business app, they have generated significant income and grown by 30 percent, as they were able to connect with their readers and writers more easily and efficiently. They were also able to create a comfortable experience for female authors who found the short link option on their website a better way to connect than calling strangers.
Writing is inherently a solo profession, but with FanatiXx Publication, scribes have a community which they can connected with. And with the WhatsApp Business app, the company has a better way to communicate with them.
